Frequently Asked Questions

The start and end of the cruise season depend on weather and demand.

In May, we operate occasional cruises where there’s sufficient demand. In early June, the cruise schedule becomes regular with three cruises per day, five days a week. In September, we still operate occasional cruises where there’s sufficient demand.

Our 24/7 online booking calendar shows available times to book a cruise, so you can easily check if it’s possible to join a cruise at your preferred time. Click “Book a Cruise” to access the booking calendar.

It’s also always worth contacting our sales service to ask about availability, especially if you have a larger group.

About 10-20 minutes before departure is the optimal time.

If we’ve returned from an earlier cruise, it takes a moment for previous guests to disembark, for us to clean and wash up, and to set up the new buffet. The staff will invite you aboard as soon as everything is ready.

If you arrive very early, you’re welcome to come on deck even if cleaning is still underway inside. While waiting, you can enjoy a drink.

Yes. In front of Rudolfina on Läntinen Rantakatu, there are free 1h, 2h, and 12h disc parking spaces. On Linnankatu, there are paid parking spaces.

Yes. Many guests come from the dock without reservations, especially on beautiful summer days.

We recommend booking in advance, as if there are no reservations for a cruise—for example, due to uncertain weather—we won’t operate the cruise.

A table is reserved for you inside under your name, and the serving staff will guide you to your reserved table. A server will come to take your drink order and let you know when the buffet is ready and you can go eat. Your reserved table inside is available for the entire cruise.

Yes. Your reserved table inside is available for the entire cruise. For example, you can go on deck to enjoy welcome drinks, take in the views of the Aura River, and move inside to eat only after finishing your drinks. Of course, you can also spend the entire cruise on deck.

Please note that the boat has fairly steep stairs leading to the deck, so you’ll need to carry your plate up the stairs yourself, which is why dining inside is easier. Table service is primarily inside, but the servers will help carry food and drinks to the deck once the tables inside have been served.

The cruise, buffet meal, and drinks consumed during the cruise are paid toward the end of the cruise. The server will bring the bill if you don’t wish to order anything more, such as additional drinks. You can also request the bill earlier if you prefer.

Any invoicing must always be arranged in advance with our sales service.

The price includes the cruise and meal. Themed cruise prices also include the program according to the theme. All our prices include VAT.

Drinks are charged according to consumption.

No. Drinks are charged according to consumption.

Please note that we offer bottled spring water, as we’re naturally not connected to the water supply network. The boat’s water tank is used primarily for the kitchen, dishwashing, handwashing, and toilet needs, and we have to refill the tank during the day between cruises.

The buffet doesn’t include coffee or tea, as many guests don’t want hot drinks, especially in summer heat. This way we avoid unnecessary water consumption and brewing coffee that goes to waste.

Yes. You can buy a deck spot for the cruise. Tables inside are reserved primarily for diners, but you can also come inside with just a cruise ticket if tables are available.

The price for lunch and dinner cruises without a meal is €17/person. Cruise duration 2h.

The price for the evening cruise without a meal is €20/person. Cruise duration 3.5h.

Yes. On the evening cruise, we dock at the Presidential Pier in Naantali Bay at approximately 8:30 PM.

The price for a cruise from Naantali to Turku is €10/person. The price does not include a meal.

Please note that if it’s very windy, we may not be able to dock at the pier.

Yes. You can disembark from the evening cruise in Naantali at approximately 8:30 PM.

Please let the staff know in advance that you’ll be disembarking so we don’t wait for you unnecessarily when departing Naantali.

We don’t generally reserve deck tables in advance, as it’s difficult to predict what weather is suitable for everyone to be outside. You can choose your spot on deck freely.

All our tables are window tables.

All the boat’s tables are bolted to the floor, so the table arrangement can’t be modified. If your party is so large that everyone can’t fit at the same table, we’ll reserve adjacent tables.

Yes. The stairs leading inside are so steep and the boat’s spaces so tight that we ask you to leave strollers on deck for the duration of the cruise.

Unfortunately not.

You board the boat on deck via a gangway, whose angle depends on the water level of the Aura River. Fairly steep stairs lead from the deck to the interior. Both the gangway and stairs have sturdy railings. The buffet table and guest restrooms are inside.

We regularly have guests who use walkers or wheelchairs. In these cases, we exceptionally reserve a table on deck under the canopy, and our serving staff helps bring food and drinks to the deck. There’s a very small staff restroom on deck that can be used in these situations.

Some of the deck tables are located under a canopy. There are a few heaters on deck and blankets are available.

Yes. It’s warm and cozy inside, even if it’s a bit drizzly outside.

If a severe wind or storm warning has been issued, our captain assesses whether we can operate the cruise. We’ll contact guests with reservations immediately if we know the boat can’t operate.

Yes. Well-behaved pets are welcome.

For example, you can be on deck with a dog, and our staff can ask other guests inside if they’re comfortable with a pet at a nearby table. Please let us know in advance if you’d like to bring a pet on the cruise, and we’ll find the most suitable spot for you.
